Pleasant hotel, courteous and polite staff, amazing location in a quiet residential area. Very very good breakfast with a wide array of toast, cakes, eggs, cheese and meats to satisfy every guest.

The room was a disaster, noise from the tram and vexing bars below were unbearable. I also expected a welcome gift for enduring this chaos but of course, that didn't happen. Breakfast was absurdly mediocre, and the staff seemed to have taken a vow of silence-I almost thought it woudl ve been a decent stay, but I just couldn't.

The view from the breakfast room, delicious croissants.
The furniture is a bit old, the bathroom was very dark and the shower head urgently needs to be cleaned. The Czech radio at breakfast.

Breakfast was fine and tasty. Location top and cleanliness super.
Coffee needs getting used to! Some rooms unfortunately had no mobile phone shower head.

We were picked up from the airport with the free shuttle of the hotel. We were able to change the room given to us to a better one by the help of the receptionist. The breakfast was very satisfying and the room was extremely comfortable along with free wi-fi. We really liked our stay at Galileo. The cleanliness of the place and the hospitality were magnificent.

We were upgraded to a comfortable, spacious suite free of charge.
Its only a small gripe but the only english speaking channel was cnn it would be nice to have another, maybe movie channel or music channel, not that we spent too long in our room.

Good location - one/two blocks from the subway Namesti Miru, central, friendly staff, very clean and confortable room, great bathroom, free wi-fi at the lobby and inside the apartment... Praha is a city with very cheap selection of hotels, but Galileo is a nice option for "budget with confort" travelers.
The breakfast is good, but they could really offer a better selection of juices and breads. The TV is very small, but who cares when you've got an awesome city to discover...

Breakfast served on the fifth floor offers a fine view of the city. The old part of the hotel exudes charm, with a cozy atmosphere and even the windows can be opened for a breath of fresh air, a rarity in many places.
Noise from street traffic and nearby pubs can be bothersome, especially for lighter sleepers, so plan on bringing earplugs if you're sensitive. Some corridors could use better soundproofing, as voices and footsteps echo down the hall. Amenities, like the bar area, feel uninviting and outdated, which makes you less inclined to stick around for a drink.

We have stayed here before and because we liked it we chose to stay here again, the staff were excellent. Its not far from the city.
For a 4 star hotel it does lack decent food facilities. Even though the hotel has free wi fi there is a computer in lounge free to use, however it is in a poor state of repair.

The room was very spacious and everything was very neat and clean. The rooms facing the main street are quite loud though. The breakfast was very good, especially the cake. The staff is very friendly and dedicated.
The location directly on the main road is associated with noise and few parking spaces.

I really appreciated how easy it was to stroll to places like Wenceslas Monument and the National Museum. The area has a great selection of restaurants and cafes just a few steps away. It.
